Journal of Energy Bioscience is published independently by BioSci Publisher. All papers published in this journal are licensed to all users under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License.

Journal of Energy Bioscience is committed to publishing and disseminating significant original achievements in the related research fields of energy biosciences. All papers chosen for publication should be innovative research work, covering the collection and identification of bioenergy materials, the genetic improvement and breeding of bioenergy organisms, the extraction methods and techniques of biomass energy, the application of biomass energy, and other related research fields.

The primary criterion for publication is new insights that are not only of broad interest to geneticist, molecular biologists, and applied biologists, but are also appropriate for energy engineers, researchers engaged in the exploitation and application of bioenergy, and readers interested in the study of energy bioscience.

All journals under BioSci Publisher do not require article processing charges (APCs) and offer free publication and free access. However, Open access publications are not without costs. As a publisher, BioSci Publisher needs to pay platform operation fees to publishing platform operators. These fees are used for server rentals, journal publishing systems, publishing databases, access space, software upgrades, and the daily operation and maintenance of the journal publishing system. Our journal operates on a no-fee basis, and all submissions undergo a peer-review process. We prioritize HTML publication and PDF versions will be available within 30 days after HTML publication.
